    I'm curious about this also. I would love to make them...but, have never even talked to anyone that has seen one.

          WAAAAY COOL! Thanks nathan - definitely going to give these a whirl.

          I remember making similar things for Easter - only they were eggs with little panoramic views on the inside.

          These are WAY cooler!

            hey ! no problem. Id like to give it a try too.... take em to work and further alienate myself from the rest, LOL> Im gonna look for a mold locally, being in L.A. it cant be that hard, but i noticed they were available on the page i linked us too. I think many of us are going to have fun..... teee heeeee

            I'm going to try something new this year and run a thread through the top of the skull and under the jaw bone. The plan is to be able to make a bunch of talking skulls for the kids in my complex.

      Well I am the expert. Every year I make 20-40 and sell them at our community Mexican celebration. Being Mexican- Americans it is a tradition for us.It really is not too hard. You can buy the molds online at www.mexicansugarskull.com
      I get the oaxaca mold.You need to buy their Meringue Powder for the skulls. The icening can be cake decorating kind but let dry in air to harden.

    I received a sugar skull mold to make them last Christmas and want to make them for the upcoming holidays.

      Cooo-ool! I am definately going to have to keep an eye out for a skull-mold, I don't recall ever even seeing one.

        "sur la table" has the molds and the merange powder needed for these...... If there is one available to u all...... good luck
