Wed, October 19, 2005 - 6:36 PMI'm going to try something new this year and run a thread through the top of the skull and under the jaw bone. The plan is to be able to make a bunch of talking skulls for the kids in my complex.

Re: sugar skulls?
Fri, September 30, 2005 - 9:15 PMWell I am the expert. Every year I make 20-40 and sell them at our community Mexican celebration. Being Mexican- Americans it is a tradition for us.It really is not too hard. You can buy the molds online at www.mexicansugarskull.com
I get the oaxaca mold. You need to buy their Meringue Powder for the skulls. The icening can be cake decorating kind but let dry in air to harden.
